At Custom Window Coverings Limited, we combat that heat with top-quality window treatments from Hunter Douglas. Our expert team will help you find the perfect blind, shutter, shade, or drape for each and every one of the windows in your home.

Every Project Start to Finish

At Custom Window Coverings Limited, we are about more than just selling you a window covering. When you work with one of our team members, they get to know you and are with you in this through every step. We start by walking you through all of our window treatment options, including blinds, cellular shades, drapery, roller shades, Roman shades, shadings, sheers, shutters, solar shades, and woven wood shades. Once you have decided on the perfect window covering, we measure your windows, custom build the blind, shutters, shades, or drapes to match, and provide installation services. We also offer warranty repairs and assistance after your window treatments are installed. In addition to window treatments, we can create custom top treatments and bedding. No matter what your project goals are, we are here to help.

Spending Time in Sandia Park

Sandia Park is a small town just east of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Nestled right below the Sandia Mountains, the town features a wealth of hiking, climbing, and skiing opportunities. Part of the Sandia Mountains Trails even lead to the Sandia Man Cave, a cavern where Ice Age animal remains were found in the late 1930s.

If you like animals, Hollywick Farms gives you a chance to get up and personal with alpacas and learn about their care. You can also purchase soft textiles woven from alpaca fibers. If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind experience, we recommend visiting the Tinkertown Museum. Established in 1983, this museum is the creation of collector and carver Ross Ward. The main feature is Tinkertown itself, a miniature western town featuring 26 buildings and 300 miniature people who are all animated and have unique stories. Sandia Park is a place you will enjoy visiting again and again.

Rebecca B.

Star Star Star Star Star Wonderful company from initial contact to installation. They kept in contact with us on every step and returned promptly to solve any problems we had. They replaced our valances which seemed too big for our shades and adjusted our shades to fit properly over our floor trim. Excellent service.

Star Star Star Star Star The house my wife and I recently bought has a large skylight that lets in a lot of heat -- a definite minus during the warm part of the year. The Venetian blinds that someone had installed were saggy and didn’t help with the heat. CWC removed the old blinds and and installed a battery-powered shade with hexagonal fabric and a remote. The new cover lets in a lot of light but there’s no longer an obvious heat gain. Because the split in that room won’t have to work as hard to keep it cool, we should get a reduction in electricity use. The installation itself was as painless as any such process can be. The folks from CWC were communicative, polite, and efficient, and cleaned up carefully afterwards. They were very concerned about making sure we were happy with the outcome. The fact that they’re based in Santa Fe and our house is in Albuquerque wasn’t a problem. I’ll be calling them for all our future window covering needs.
